Preliminary task
I worked in a group of three which consisted on Reme, Maria and myself. We had to do the task on anger. I think this task went well because it made sense and feedback from the task was very positive and no negative feedback.
The things that went well was the shots we had all shots which were included in the checklist which was; reverse shot, long shot, high angle show, over the shoulder and two shot. We also included another shot called the match on action shot which worked really well. When filming the camera wasn’t shaky at all because we used the tripod however in some shots like over the shoulder shot we couldn’t use the tripod because of the height it had to be at so we used the camera free hand. The shots all linked together nicely and was easy to understand the concept also the effects used had more to the film because it makes it more interesting.
I used transitions to go in to different videos and used sounds to cover swearing words. I used a title at the front to make the video look more professional. For my main piece of coursework I think I need to have more shots and more effects to make it more interesting and entertaining. Also a better plan because it wasn’t that detailed and was rushed because it had to be redone as someone forgot the original but I think overall it turned out how it was meant to, but I think next time a better story line has to be created. When editing the film I found it easy because I just had to dragged the scenes into place, at the beginning cutting was difficult because I didn’t know what part I was cutting out or keeping but as I carried on cutting pieces of film it became easier and I got use to it. I found the editing easy when I knew how to get most things and picking out to use was hard as well because it didn’t go well but eventually I got what I wanted.
When filming the actual scenes we found it hard to keep serious so it had to keep being re done but we got there. I also think that in the film our positions aren’t really actuate but you can’t really see it in the film.
