Funding Opportunties and Distributing

 Funding opportunities that are available for me are funding from family, friends and a job. I don’t need a large amount of funding because the project isn’t big however if I were doing a large project I could get funding from a bank or a producer.

A distributor who could advertise my film could be YouTube as this is a very popular website for viewing videos and many filmmakers can be found on this with their amateur films. More people would be able to view and it wouldn’t be difficult and if it is related to anything else it will come up to and it doesn’t always have to be searched. I could also you a blog to distribute my films or a social networking site like twitter as it is very popular.

In an ideal world I would like a well-known movie company to distribute my film e.g. universal, Columbia pictures, warner brothers or 20^th century fox. These would be good film distributors as they have been around for a long time and most people  know theses companies as they are popular. However I really liked the film sinister as it was really well set out and the distributor for that was Momentum Pictures. So I would use this distributor as sinister was a very well done film.
