Horror Film Rough Cut

The feedback for my horror film rough cut was god criticism and it will help in order t achieve a good grade in my media course.
Overall my partner and I achieved around a level 3 which isn’t too bad for a rough cut.ost comments I received talked about the plot and lighting. The main trouble was that the plot was unclear ad the lighting was too dark in some scenes.
I also agree with these comments because I feel that our plot makes sense to us because we created it but the audience can find it difficult to follow. A way in which we could improve the plot would be to add extra scenes e.g. The scary by telling the children to come in to the forest which would add more effect and tension making it feel more scary while also helping it make sense.
Also the lighting was trouble as well because of the darkness, so to improve this it would be best to re shoot the clips so that you can see what’s happening.
Other comments said that the camera was to shaky however we did this intentionally to give it the Blair witch look because of the setting which is in a park/forest.
The scary boy wasn’t that scary, we were going to put eye contacts in but couldn’t because we were unable to put it in his eye. However as we have lost effect with the eyes the music will help us maybe   to get the effect back.
Overall around a level 3 is a good grade for a rough cut but we still can improve to get the best grade possible.
