Music Video Similarities

Bruno mars - Treasure
In this music video there is a lot of cut aways to different pieces in the actual scene, for example it will cut away to an arm or a face. Also when it cuts away it cuts to a very small section and then zooms out and I like this affect because it goes with the music. Also the theme of the video is a comedic 70s theme with matching red and leopard suits. With a lot of spot lights it really goes a long with the stereotypical way a 70s video was. It is just filmed in an indoor studio and has a very cheesy dance routine and a band.

John Newman- love me again
This music video is also  an old fashioned way with a 1980s feel of a community hall get together with a romance involved as well. Has a lot of slow motion to go with the song and the weird dances. Which makes the dancing seem more atmospheric. Also looks like a live performance. But with a twist at the end as the couple get hit by a van. Old fashioned like Bruno Mars' Treasure

Ellie Goulding – Burn
In the music video it isn’t the same with the old fashioned theme but a more modern theme of reckless teenagers and parties. Loads of cutaways and closes up of the singer singing and dancing, which sometimes looks performed or improvised.

Conor Maynard – R U Crazy

Has a band performance like Bruno mars. But had a lot of symbolism with his evil side having a black background etc. and his emotional side having a white theme. He is singing to the camera and there is a party. The story is him with a girl having a fight making up having a fight etc.
